Charles Franklin Burchard

Charles Franklin Burchard, 90, of Elgin, Texas, passed away on October 20, 2017 in Round Rock.

Charles was born in Austin, Texas to Alvena Doughtery and Malcolm Burchard on November 5, 1926.  Charles married Margaret L. Dudley August 27, 1948 in Austin.  He was a member of the United States Navy, serving in World War II as a gunner’s mate.

Charles is preceded in death by his wife Margaret L. Dudley Burchard.

He is survived by daughter Fran Green of Austin, son Michael Burchard of San Antonio, and daughter Linda Myers of Lawhon Springs.  Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren are also left to cherish his memories.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, TX.  A graveside service will be on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 9:00 A.M. at the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
