Carl Wesley Peterson, 65, of Round Rock, Texas, passed away on April 13, 2024. He was born on July 1, 1958, in Billings, Montana, to Marlin and Elizabeth (Fast) Peterson.
In 1982, Carl married the love of his life, Rebecca Kuske Peterson, sharing 42 wonderful years together. He pursued his education at the University of North Texas, earning a Bachelor's degree. Carl dedicated himself to a career in the Court of Criminal Appeals, where his commitment to justice and integrity shone brightly.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Carl found joy in various passions. He had a profound love for cars and the open road. His thirst for knowledge extended to current events and financial matters, always staying informed. Carl cherished the tranquility of golfing and the adventure of backpacking. Additionally, he had a knack for working with his hands, finding fulfillment in fixing and creating.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Marlin and Elizabeth Peterson. His memory lives on in the hearts of his loved ones. He is survived by his devoted wife, Rebecca, his twin brother Wayne (and wife, Lorri) Peterson, sisters Sandra Behnke and Wanda (husband, Curtis) Jackson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
In honoring Carl's legacy, let us remember his zest for life, his witty humor, and his enduring spirit. Though he may have left this world, his presence will forever remain a cherished part of those who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to The American Cancer Society or Trinity Lutheran Church Music Program.
