Calvin Lee Wilson

Calvin Lee Wilson, also known as “Pop”, went to be with the Lord at his home with his family. He was born in Kaufman, TX where is grew up with his two brothers. He joined the Navy in 1968.When he came back home he meet the love of his life (Marie) which he was married to for 47 years. He was a lifelong resident of Texas where he worked as a Butcher, Insurance Salesman and Manager of Restaurants. Lee was a loving husband, Father, grandfather and great grandfather.

The most important thing about Lee was his wife Marie. He cared for her every day of his life. He would always start his day with a cup of coffee each morning by her side before she woke up. And ending each night with an “I Love You”.He never missed her birthday or Anniversary. He will be beside her next week on her birthday and December for their Anniversary.

Lee enjoyed Fishing, Cooking, Church and YES, the Cowboys. If you knew Pop, he was Cowboys All Th Way till he passed. He was alert on Sunday watching the Cowboys win. He even had a Cowboy shirt on. Every Sunday He will be watching them Boys.

He survived by his brother: Alfred and Carolyn Wilson of Kaufman TX, his children John Zaby and wife, Kim, of Kaufman, TX; Carla Zaby Musick of Taylor, TX; Carolyn Neiheiser and husband, Randall of Pflugerville, TX; Sherry Wilson and Donnie Cox of Taylor, TX; thirteen grandchildren: Jason, Tyson, Cason, Cody, Cali, Aaron, Kelsy, Katlyn, Emily, Lindsey, Mallery, Bradley and Camden; fourteen great grandchildren: Mason, Tiger, Jett, Carolyna, BreeAnna, Shelton, Gracelyn, Brayden, Kade, Matthew, Shayleigh, Ryleigh, Elijah and Sofia.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday October 19, 2018 at 1:00 pm at First United Methodist Church in Taylor, Texas.
