Our little ladybug, Brittany Jo Gayton, gained her wings on Friday, August 12, 2022.
Brittany was born on November 4, 1984, in Taylor to Joe Gayton and Mary Grace Zapata. She began her education at St. Mary’s Catholic School, went on to graduate from Taylor High School, Class of 2002, continued her education at Southern Careers Institute where she completed the Pharmacy Technician program, and was most recently working to complete her associate degree in Health Information Technology at Austin Community College. She was employed as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) at Baylor Scott and White. Brittany had an unbreakable spirit and took life by the horns. She gave more than she received and loved buying gifts for those she loved. Some of her best memories were made with her best friend, Toby.
She is loved by her fur babies, Prada (aka. Piggie), Louie, and Tanky; her parents, Joe Gayton and Mary Grace Zapata (husband Erick); five brothers, Toby, Mikey, Eric, Julian, and Steven; two sisters, Kachina (husband Frank) and Ericka; grandfather, Lorenzo Lopez; Kyle Rydell; numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, and uncles.
Celebration of life to be held from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, August 19, 2022, at Providence Funeral Home, 807 Carlos Parker Blvd. NW, Taylor.
