Brenda Ann Ness

Brenda Bailey Ness, 74 of Taylor, was born on November 16, 1943 in Marlin, Texas.  She went to be with her Lord on July 19, 2018.

Brenda was a kind, loving, caring person who always put family and friends first.  She lived her life for others, particularly those who called her mom, grandma, GG, and nana.  Her greatest hobby was spending time with family.  Evidence of this was her daily afternoon visits to great-grandchildren Jaxon, Austin, and Cameron, and one-on-one time with her grandchildren.  She devoted 34 years of her life and heart to the Headstart Program.  She was not only the matriarch of her immediate family, but her Headstart family as well.

Survivors include her daughters Renada Ness and Lea Ness (husband Alvaro Maravilla); grandchildren Jacob Ness (wife Allie), Rollan Espinoza (girlfriend Adriana), Braeden and Hannah Ness, Angel and Ahymli Falcon, Kaddy and Victoria Maravilla; great grandchildren Jaxon, Austin, Cameron, Amaya, Alijah, Alaina, Azikiel; brothers Larry Boring and Arlee Boring; sisters Debbie Caldwell (husband Lee) and Reba Fischer (husband Dan).

She is preceded in death by her son Wesley Ness and her parents Hazel Boring and Jim Bailey.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Providence Funeral Home Chapel in Taylor, TX.  A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Providence Funeral Home Chapel in Taylor, TX.
