Brandon Lee Lopez

May 24, 2004 — June 27, 2020

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Brandon Lee Lopez.  Brandon went to be with our Lord on Saturday June 27, 2020, at the young age of 16, following a car accident. He was born on May 24, 2004 in Austin, Texas to his parents Chris Lopez and Monica Boone. Brandon was baby brother to his older siblings Alize, Eric and Jacob. Later in his young life, his dad’s family grew to include stepmom Carmen and his younger siblings Dominic, Mya and Lorenzo and his mom’s family grew to include stepdad Atanacio and his younger siblings Andreas and Analee.  Brandon’s extended family includes his paternal grandparents Jesse and Ester Lopez and maternal grandparents Jose Boone (and Alex) and Maria Crowder as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephew.

Brandon has always been a gentle, kind hearted soul.  He would help anyone in need or try to brighten up someone’s day with just a smile and a few clever or caring words.  He was a vibrant young man full of life who absolutely loved spending time with his family and friends.  Some things that made Brandon happy were playing ball with his team The Raptors, swimming in the lake, four wheeling, playing Fortnight, watching The Flash TV series, and listening and singing to his favorite music. He loved playing around with his brothers and sisters, messing with them in a good way, as a brother does…and he looooved being without his shirt so that he could show off his six pack!  Brandon was the most genuine person who always had a smile on his face.  He brought laughter and happiness to everyone that knew him.

Brandon is survived by his parents Chris Lopez (and Carmen) and Monica Boone (and Atanacio); siblings: Alize Lopez (and Tito), Eric Lopez, Jacob Lopez, Dominic Lopez, Mya Lopez, Lorenzo Lopez, Andreas Galvan and Analee Galvan; paternal grandparents Jesse and Ester Lopez, maternal grandparents Jose Boone (and Alex) & Maria Crowder; nephew Angel Camacho.
