Billie Von Nell Drews

Billie Von Nell Drews, 87 years of age, passed from her earthly life on May 23 ^rd , 2018 at Falcon Ridge Rehabilitation surrounded by her family.  Billie was born on July 11, 1930 in San Saba, Texas and attended schools in the San Saba school district.

She was preceded in death by her mother Bess V. Jones, daughter Deborah Ann Klein, and sister Gloria Knope.

Billie’s children are Carey (Barbara) Franklin of Coupland, Texas, Roger Don (Patty) Franklin of New Braunfels, Texas, Jeff Shaw of Thrall, Texas, Mike (Donna) Shaw of Taylor, Texas.

She was “Nanny” to 10 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren and one on the way.

She is also survived by a brother and sister in law, Dennis and Molly Jones of Manor, Aunt Doris Halliburton of Corpus Christi, Texas, Aunt Dell (James) Castleberry of San Saba, Texas, and Uncle Cotton (Christine) Frizzell of San Angelo, Texas, Aunt Marjorie Frizzell of Brownwood, Texas, several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jason Shaw, Michael Shaw, Teddy Joe Gailey, Jim Bob Gailey, Ethan and Tyler Shaw.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Providence Funeral Home.  Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Providence Funeral Home.  Burial will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at San Saba City Cemetery in San Saba, Texas.
