Betty Ann Kaspar Mulsow, age 90, passed away peacefully in Taylor, Texas on March 29, 2021, with her family at her side. She was born on January 14, 1931 in Taylor, Texas to Louis and Vlasta (Sladek) Kaspar. On May 28, 1950, Betty graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Taylor, Texas, and began her journey as a wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a seamstress in the local area until retirement. Her love for gardening showed in her rose bushes. Betty’s other interests included crossword puzzles, playing dominos, listening to Czech music and cooking for her family.
Betty is survived by three sons; Larry W. Manley, Randall “Randy” Manley (Maria), and Allen L. Manley; a daughter, Diane (John) Lalla; as well as eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Kathrine Manley Raley; and husbands, Willard C. Manley and Harvey L. “Pop” Mulsow. She is also preceded by her two brothers, Dan and Joseph “Joe” Kaspar; and sister, Dorothy Kaspar Fitzgerald.
Betty will be laid to rest at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin, Texas.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the hospice nurses and aides who helped them throughout this difficult time.
