Benjamin Noe Gonzalez, Jr.

Benjamin Noe Gonzalez Jr., 57, of Taylor, TX peacefully passed away at his Taylor residence on September 2, 2019 surrounded by his loved ones. Benjamin lovingly referred to as “Benny” was born in Taylor, Tx on May 19, 1962 to Benjamin Gonzalez Sr. and Socorro Gonzalez of Taylor, TX.

He graduated from Taylor High School and attended Austin Community College. He joined the U.S Air Force in November 27, 1981, where he met the love of his life as he called her, and they were married in California while stationed at Travis Air Force Base.  Benny separated from the Air Force on November 16, 1983 and they moved to Taylor. He began his career in the HVAC industry, shortly after his discharge from the Air Force, and started his own HVAC subcontracting business later in life.

Benny loved having BBQ cookouts, spending time with Family, taking pictures of sunsets, traveling, and going to the coast. Benny accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized at the New Life Church in Taylor and loved attending church and singing.

Benjamin is survived by his wife Patricia Tiger-Gonzalez, his pride and joy, daughters Cheyenne and Seneca Miles of the home, sons, Jason Kernell and Aaron Kernell of the home. Daughters and son in laws; Miranda and Roger Saldivar of Austin, Tx, Yolanda and Jesse Williams of Austin, Tx and grandchildren. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Jose and Julia V. Gonzales of Taylor, maternal grandfather Juan Barco, and various cousins.

Visitation will be at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, Tx on September 9, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Funeral services will be September 10, 2019 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor at 10:00 AM.  Burial will be at the City of Taylor Cemetery.  Reception following.
