Beatrice Richter

On March 26, 2022, our beloved mother went to be with the Lord.

Beatriz Galvan Alvarado Richter was born on April 14, 1936, in Eddy Texas.  Her parents were Cleotilde Alderete Galvan and Marcelo Galvan.  Both her parents preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, Agustin Galvan, her sisters, Chavela Thompson, Lilly Delacruz, and Malena Medrano.

In 1953 she married Asencion Alvarez Alvarado (deceased), and they had six children, an infant son that died at birth, and five surviving daughters:  Maria Elena (Mary Helen) Alvarado, Carmen Holan (John), Ofamia (Mia) Perez, Emily Martinez, and Margorie (Margie) Kennedy.

In 1974 she married Langdon Richter (deceased) and had one son, Andy Richter, who also survives her.

She is survived by brothers Ruben (Beatrice) and Louis Galvan, and her sisters Connie Gutierrez and Rachel Nunez.  She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great- grandchildren.

She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a very young age and never forgot who He is. She was one of the pioneers in the founding of the Iglesia Jerusalen Church here in Taylor.

Beatriz entered this world in the springtime and left it in the springtime.  She waited for the bluebonnets and the red bud (she called it the popcorn tree) to start blooming.  She loved life, singing, music and dancing.

She will be truly missed by all those that love her.
