Artie B Roznovak

Artie B passed away to be with Jesus on June 13, 2019 at the SPJST Assisted Living Facility, where she had made her home for the past years.

Artie B was born in the Taylor area to Henry Preuss and Bertha Taylor Preuss on June 4, 1926.  She was a lifelong resident of Taylor, Texas and a member of the Taylor Brethren Church.

Artie B was a 1943 graduate of Taylor High School, and that same year on August 12 ^th , she married her beloved husband, Marvin.  In 1948, their marriage was blessed by a wonderful daughter, Kathy.

Artie B was a retired Civil Service Internal Revenue Service employee.  She was involved in many areas of church activities.  She was a loving wife, mother and caregiver to her family.

Artie B loved playing bridge with friends for many years and will be remembered for her smile and her loving spirit by many.

Artie B is proceeded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Marvin who passed away in December of 2001, her precious daughter Kathy who passed away in December of 2005, her brother Eugene Preuss, her foster brother Roy Preuss and brother in law Reynold Roznovak.

Surviving family members are two nieces, Luanne Prince of Houston, Suellen Smith and husband Guy of Cleburne, two nephews, Roy E. Preuss and wife Tammy of Sulphur Springs and Ralph Preuss and wife Lisa of Sulphur Springs.

The visitation for Artie B will be June 17, 2019 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at the Brethren Church located in Taylor, Texas, and the service will begin following the visitation.  The service will be officiated by Reverend James Heil.

The service and visitation are under the care and direction of Providence Funeral Home.  Pallbearers are Roy Preuss, Ralph Preuss, Guy Smith, Richard Stephens, and Russell Hejl.

Burial will follow in the Taylor City Cemetery.
