Anton Ludwig Pokorny was born in Taylor, Texas August 25, 1920 and went home to be with the Lord February 1, 2019. He was married in 1941 to his beloved sweetheart Fay Dutchover for 56 years. Anton was a WWII veteran and served as an Army Maintenance Motor Sergeant in the 77 th Field Artillery. He was honored with a bronze star and six battle stars. In 1951 Anton and Fay moved to California with their sons Anton Joe and Oscar Carlos where he worked for Lockheed Martin for 29 ½ years where he was a production assembler, a plane upholsterer and a maintenance mechanic.
After Fay passed, he moved to Sonora, CA then back to his beloved hometown Taylor, Texas in 2005. There he was fortunate to find his second love, Lucille Trcka. Anton was loved dearly and will be missed by family and friends.

There will be a viewing in Taylor, Texas at Providence Funeral Home, February 22 from 6-8 pm and a Celebration of Life Service February 23 at 10:30 am at Taylor Brethren Church. He will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, CA.
