Andrea Lynne Ripple

December 11, 1961 — February 29, 2024

Andrea Lynne Ripple was born on December 11, 1961, in Austin, Texas. She passed from this earthly realm into the presence of her Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 29, 2024. She was 62 years young and beautiful in every way, inside and out. What marked the beauty of her life more than anything was the overwhelming love she had for Jesus, her Lord. She loved God with all her heart, mind, soul, and strength. She loved deeply and she was deeply loved. Thus, the grief we experience is deep, but not without a hope that is yet deeper and greater in Christ.
Andrea married Jeff Ripple on September 28, 1985. They were married at Christ Fellowship Church in Taylor. They were both very aware of their need for God’s grace and the one thing that could wash away their sin, the blood of Jesus. That awareness of the need for God’s redeeming grace and the assurance of pardon through faith in Jesus Christ carried her to the very end. It carried her joyfully and boldly into the arms of Jesus.

Her marriage began a grand adventure that would unbelievably result in her becoming a pastor’s wife. She was not only a godly and exceptional helpmate in marriage, but also in ministry. She was gifted and called to minister to children and so she did with great joy. She taught children in the home, in the church, and as the founding kindergarten teacher for Koinonia Classical Christian School. She modeled Christlikeness to all.
The love of Christ poured into her heart by the Holy Spirit was poured out from her heart to so many. She has left a legacy for the generations. She is a mother, by blood, to three children and GG to 17 grandchildren, soon 18, on this earth. Now in heaven, she is with at least a half dozen grandchildren that the Lord had waiting for her. Over the years she was a mother, by spirit and love, for many that have become part of her enduring legacy.

Andrea is survived by her husband of 38 years, Jeff. She is mother to three children that survive her, Caleb Ripple and wife EJ, with their eight children, Ephraim, Noah, Gideon, Luke, Ezra, Evangeline, Josiah, and Esther Jubilee; Victoria Berry and husband Matthew, with their three children, Josephine, James, and Emily; Spencer Ripple and wife Mareli, with their seven children, Benjamin, Simeon, Prudence, Anna, Hyacinth, Jonah, and the next one soon to be here.

Andrea is also survived by both her parents and step-parents, Gerald Gillespie and wife MaryLou of Taylor; Martha Burghart and husband Tony, soon to be of Taylor. Andrea was the middle child, between her surviving older sister, Tammy Campbell and husband Ronnie of Charlotte, Texas, and her surviving younger sister Cynthia Ulmer and husband Jeff of Mena, Arkansas.
We thank God for His divine providence and grace that made her life what it was for all she loved and for all who loved her, and all for the glory of God.

In lieu of flowers, Andrea Ripple would ask that memorial gifts be made in her honor to Koinonia Classical Christian School to continue shaping the generations, 1517 McLain, Taylor, Texas 76574.
