Anastasia Lynn Lopez (Stacy)

Anastasia Lynn Lopez (Stacy), 40 of Austin went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, October 11, 2024.

Stacy was born on September 23, 1984 in Austin to Adolph Lopez and Yvonne Oranday. She grew up with one younger brother and one younger sister.

Stacy was a sweet and loving person who gave the best hugs and was always genuinely interested in how you were doing or any of your family members. You always felt loved after spending time with her. Stacy enjoyed being with family and she was our social butterfly. She always had a smile that could light up any room and she was always so friendly and caring with anyone she met. Stacy was a true Taylor Duck and started school at the age of 3. She graduated from Taylor High School in 2003. While Stacy was in school she was very involved in Special Olympics. Her sports she competed in were bocce ball, bowling, basketball and track and field.

Stacy enjoyed attending church. She really enjoyed the music, whether it was the traditional hymns in church or the praise and worship music she listened to on CD's or radio. Stacy loved to pray and she prayed before meals and at bedtime daily.

She was our angel on earth.

Stacy is preceded in death by her grandparents Camilo G. and Virginia Carranza, her grandmother Eva Lopez, her aunt Jessica L. Carranza and many more.

Stacy is survived by her parents Armando and Yvonne Oranday and Adolph and Gladys Lopez, one grandfather Lorenzo Lopez, one brother Abraham Oranday, one sister Jade Oranday, one stepbrother Eloy Flores, one niece Iris Ramirez-Oranday, numerous aunts and uncles and many cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Providence Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylor.

Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
