Aileene Joyce Machu

Aileene Machu, 83, of Taylor passed away Thursday, May 30th, 2019 at her home surrounded by family.

Aileene Joyce Kaatz was born on March 20 ^th , 1936 in Thrall to Monroe and Annie (Dvorak) Kaatz. She was joined in holy matrimony by Almighty God to Johnnie Frank Machu on July 29 ^th , 1967 at the Taylor Brethren Church, officiated by Joseph Barton with Howard & Bonnie Machu as witnesses. They were blessed with one son, Ethan. Aileene and Johnnie loved to take road trips and attend dances at the SPJST. She loved to hear Johnnie sing and was blessed with a song, written and sung by him, on their 15 ^th wedding anniversary. A favorite family memory was Aileene and Johnnie’s 50 ^th wedding anniversary as they celebrated with family and friends with a big party. She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, sewing, gardening, and especially flowers of any kind. Aileene was also a longtime member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Taylor. Aileene was a sweet, kind, and loving lady, and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Emory Waldron; two brothers, Kenneth & Donald Kaatz; and sister, Jeanette Young.

Aileene is survived by her husband of 51 years, Johnnie; son, Ethan and wife Alice; stepgrandchildren, Alan and Jenifer Cundy; sisters, Patsy Quebe and Eva Bujnoch and husband Donald; sister-in-law, Lorene Machu; and brother-in-law, Howard Machu and wife Bonnie.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 2 ^nd , 2019 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Providence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, June 3 ^rd , 2019 at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
