Daniel Lopez Sr.



Daniel Lopez Sr went to be with the Lord on November 17th 2010. He was fighting against cancer and he won the great fight when he went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born and raised in San Gabriel, Tx. and was also a graduate of Thorndale High School. On March 20th, 1978 he married the love of his life, Estella Alderete, and they had five children together in which he shared many memories as a family. Daniel also enjoyed his last year with his two precious granddaughters. Daniel was an electrician for 30 years and began his career in 1980 with AAA electric and ended his career with ACM Services He was also a musician that loved to sing and play bass for the Lord and was also a sports fanatic that was loyal to his Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns.



He is preceded in death by his parents Tony and Balentina Lopez of San Gabriel, Tx and sister Janie Lopez of Taylor, Tx. He is survived by his beloved wife Estella Alderete Lopez of Taylor, Tx., his four sons Mark, Jessie, Daniel Jr, wife Sonia and Adrian Lopez, fiancé Camille Oviedo and his daughter Ashley, husband Ralph Martinez and two granddaughters Zoe Amber and Jaylin Angelina Lopez all of Taylor, Tx..He was also survived by his three brothers Cecll Lopez, wife Rachel of Rockdale, Tx, Raymond Lopez, wife Janie of Taylor, Tx, and Marcelino Lopez, wife Irma also of Taylor, Tx. Daniel had numerous nieces and nephews. Daniel impacted many people throughout his life. He will be greatly missed by all.



A visitation will be held at Providence Funeral Home Chapel in Taylor, Texas on Saturday, November 20, 2010, from 6-8 PM.



Celebration of Life services will be held at Providence Funeral Home Chapel in Taylor, Texas on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at 1 PM.



Burial will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Taylor, Texas.
