She devoted her life to Christ at an early age. She was a faithful and dedicated member and usher of Little Ebenezer Baptist Church in Hutto, Texas.
On October 16, 1979 she married Michael C. Jackson. She was a devoted wife for 31 years. It was rare that you would see one without the other. Everyone could see they were truly made for each other. She was more than just his wife; she was his best friend. He would refer to her as the “Household Technician”.
She is preceded in death by her father Jim Cage, Sr. and her sister Willie Mae Barnes. She leaves to cherish so many memories: Husband Michael C. Jackson; Daughters Cheryl “Rondell” Cage, Michelle and Alyssa Jackson; grandchildren Camara and Canden Mathis; Mother Emma Kellough; Sisters Rita Thomas, Joyce Spencer, Rosetta Cage, Charlotte Kerley, and Cassandra Kitchen; Brothers Jim Cage, Jr. and Wilbert Cage and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
