Sherri Cooper Johnson

Sherri Cooper Johnson was born on April 6, 1950 and passed away peacefully on October 24, 2010. She was taken from us unexpectedly. She was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma and moved to Hutto, Texas as a young child and attended Hutto schools. On January 25, 1969 she married Bert Johnson and they were blessed with three children.

Sherri will be remembered most especially for her dedication and love she had for her family. She adored her four grandchildren and spending time with her family around the kitchen table. The hobbies she enjoyed most were reading and craft making.

She is survived by her husband of forty-one years; her three children Melanie Leopold and husband Joe, Darin Johnson and wife Dede, and Shana Rhoads and husband Jay. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Laurel, Jacob, and Bryce Leopold and Zoe Rhoads. Others that will dearly miss her are her father, Thomas Cooper and wife Ruth, and mother, Mary Saul, as well as her three brothers and two sisters.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2010, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Providence Funeral Home, Taylor, Texas. Celebration of life services will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Providence Funeral Home, Taylor, Texas. Burial will follow at Hutto City Cemetery.
