Christopher Meyer

Christopher John Meyer, 44, of Austin, Texas died at University Medical Center at Brackenridge, Wednesday, October 20, 2010.
Chris was born in Austin, Texas, August 29, 1966, the son of Gene Meyer and Barbara Rabel Meyer of Austin, Texas.
He never met a stranger; he loved life, and would do anything for a friend.
Survivors include his parents, Barbara and Gene, his aunt, Mary Ann Wood of San Antonio, Texas and cousin, Rick Wood of San Antonio, Texas. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Elmer and Adella Meyer and Charlie and Amalie Rabel and
uncle, W.L.Wood.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2010 at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Tommy Crawford, Steve Beck, Roger Hale, Jimmy Beck, Mike Sapp and Greg Brinkmeyer. Honorary pallbearers are Rick Wood, Ronnie Schlueter and Sean Neely.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s School Trust Fund.
