Carlotta Sandoval (Diaz), 88, of Taylor passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in Round Rock, Texas.

Carlotta was born to Isidoro and Paulita Diaz on November 18, 1921 in Lexington, Texas. She married Simon Sandoval in March, 1937. She was a very strong lady and dedicated to her Catholic faith. Carlotta was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She always took the time to pray for someone else’s health. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Carlotta is preceded in death by her husband, parents, 3 brothers, and one sister. She is survived by two sons; Lupe Sandoval and wife Esther, John Sandoval and wife Mary; 6 daughters; Celia Alderete and husband Isaias, Frances Salazar and husband Martin Jr., Mary Sanchez, Josie Robles and husband Richard, Janie Gonzales, Lorene Jennings and husband Wyatt; 23 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, and 12 Great Great Grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Joe Diaz and Encaracion Diaz.

The family would like to thank the Taylor’s Senior Citizens Meals on Wheels and Our Lady of Guadalupe Church Homebound Eucurist Ministers for their services.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Friday, October 22, 2010 at Providence Funeral Home.
Rosary will be 7:00 PM Friday, October 22, 2010 at Providence Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Taylor, Texas will burial following at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.
