Timothy Ryan Umiker entered this world on June 10, 1975, in Austin, Texas, the son of Sandra Teggeman Umiker and Milton Umiker. Timothy was baptized and confirmed in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Taylor.

He went to Taylor schools and graduated from Taylor High School in 1993. He worked as an automotive-service technician.

His interests included music,movies, and spending time with family and friends. His pride and joy were his two sons, Tyler and Ryan, and time spent with them brought him his greatest pleasure. He loved children and was a very caring person.

Timothy is survived by his sons, Tyler and Ryan and their mother Dawn Lamb; mother, Sandra Umiker of Taylor and father, Milton and Becky Umiker of Georgetown; his brother, Nathan, and his wife, Sarah, of Salado; his grandparents, Erwin and Mae Teggeman of Taylor; and Albert and Minnie Richter.

He also is survived by his aunts, Gayle (Kenneth) Collins of Taylor; Denise Richter of Round Rock; Katherine (Billy) Castleberry of Dallas; his uncles, Greg (Ruth) Teggeman and Griffin (Brenda) Teggeman, of Taylor; and his cousins, Shelley (Kevin) Giesecke and daughter, Emily and son, Nicholas; Tracy (Peter) Pichini, Kevin Collins, Steven Teggeman, Thomas Teggeman, Rene Castleberry and son Ryker; Travis Teggeman, Caitlyn Castleberry, Leanne Teggeman and daughter, Alana; and Lindsey Teggeman.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Providence Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10 AM Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will be at Taylor City Cemetery.
