Glynn was born January 18, 1930, to Jesse Powell (Jake) Wade and Ione (Bernard) Wade. They welcomed their new 12 lb son on a freezing, snowy day.
Glynn married Joyce Clare in 1951 and they raised their three daughters in Taylor. He loved working in his workshop either on woodworking projects or finding a new way to make something work. He had a gift for remodeling homes and spent many hours working by the side of his three son-in-laws helping them make a house into a home. His favorite activity over the years was attending school activities and sports events his daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren participated in. PaPa was their biggest fan. They were truly the light of PaPa’s life and his memory will live on through them.
