Leonardo Lopez, Jr. 66, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in Bartlett, TX. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm with Rosary recited at 7:00pm, Friday, August 20, 2010 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of Life Mass Services will be10:00am, Saturday, August 21, 2010 at S.S. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Granger, TX. Burial will follow at Bartlett City Cemetery.
He was born on January 14, 1944 to Leonardo, Sr. and Leandra Lopez in Jarrell, TX. He married the love of his life Celia C. Lopez on June 13, 1964 at S.S. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger and resided in Bartlett, TX for 46 years. He retired from IBM after 30 years of service. Some of his hobbies included; fishing, hunting, small engine repairs (especially lawnmowers), watching sports and spending time with his grandchildren. Leonardo served in the United States Army and National Guard, he served as a former school board member for Bartlett ISD, was a member of the American Legion and was an avid Bartlett Bulldog fan.
Leonardo is preceded in death by his parents, Leonardo, Sr. and Leandra Lopez, brother, Roberto Lopez, sister in law, Sharon Lopez and a grandchild, Vicki Lee Ann Oviedo.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Celia C. Lopez, daughters; Veronica Lopez and husband Joe of Bartlett, Cynthia Pajestka and husband Larry of Bartlett, Lora Pajestka and husband Richard of Bartlett, Delia Rendon and husband Dale of Holland, brothers; Benito Lopez of Troy, Eustolio Lopez and wife Gloria of Cedar Park, Eduardo Lopez and wife Dolores of Temple, Arturo Lopez and wife Consuelo of Granger, Alberto Lopez and wife Martina of Elgin, Abelardo Lopez of Hutto, Andrew Lopez and wife Monica of Georgetown, sisters; Erlinda Pedrosa and husband Johnny of Troy, Juanita Dominguez and husband Ygnacio of Grapevine, sister-in-law; Alice Mares of Temple, grandchildren, Elizabeth Pajestka , Kristin Pajestka, Candice Pajestka, Zoanna Pajestka, Christopher Pajestka , Daniel Pajestka, Jacob Pajestka, James Ayers, Dale Rendon, Leonard Grant Lopez, Celicia Carranza, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
