Lucille M. Rubino, 82, of Taylor passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Richards Memorial Hospital in Rockdale.
Visitation will be 5-7 PM Friday, July 16, 2010 with the Rosary at 7 PM
at Providence Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life Mass will be 10 AM Saturday, July 17, 2010 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Harry Deane and Deacon Don Sims officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Lucille was born August 19, 1927 to Joseph P. and Francis (Blazek) Krenek in Cameron, Texas. She graduated from Yoe High School in Cameron. Lucille was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved gardening and her flowers were the pride of the neighborhood. She was also an excellent cook. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church and also proud to be a Texan.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Francis Krenek; a brother, David Krenek; and a son-in-law, W.T. Eckert.
Lucille is survived by her husband of 64 years, Louis Rubino, Sr. of Taylor; three sons, Larry J. Rubino and wife, Carol of Rockdale, Louis P. Rubino, Jr. and wife, Judy of Lake Wales, FL., and Allan P. Rubino and wife, Barbara of Temple; one daughter, Karen Eckert of Rockdale; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris White of Splendora and JoAnn Key of Rockdale.
Pallbearers will be Travis Eckert, Philip Rubino, Brian Shinners, Brian Key, Rodney Mazyrack, Richard Krenek, and David Krenek.
