Virginia Sue Clegg, 85 of Taylor, died Friday July 2, 2010 inGeorgetown, Texas. Visitation was from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M.,Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at 10:00 A.M.,Monday, July 5, 2010 at BoonevilleCity Cemetery, Booneville, MS.

Virginia was born on November 3, 1924 to Juluis and Florence Dunn in Marretta, MS. She loved traveling, sewing, bingo and belonged to Townwest Church in Taylor. She spent 20 years working as a Nursing Home Administrator and was the owner of Mama’s Taco’s here in Taylor.

She is preceded in death by her husband Marvin Clegg, parents, Juluis Dunn and Florence Evans, sister, Beatrice Estes and granddaughter Goldie Elizabeth Scott.

Virginia is survived by her children, Tommie and husband Grady Whitaker of Denver, NC, Betty and husband Ken Edwards ofKermit, TX, Martha and husband Robert Scott of Kingston, MI, Brian and Carla Clegg of Hutto, TX, sisters, Juluis Lee Morris of Booneville, MS, Patrilla and Bobby Maddox of Booneville, MS, grandchildren, Stephanie and husband Wade Williams of Galveston, Deanna and husband Tar Reed of Charlotte, NC, Jeff and wife Holly Ward of Cedar Park, TX, Ernie and wife Debbie Edwards of Justin, TX, Judy and husband James Williams of Kermit, TX, Virginia Scott of Kingston, MI, Robert Scott Jr., of Kingston, MI, Regina Hodges-Oats of Canton, MS, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
