Gilbert N. Costilla

Gilbert Nicholas “Nick” Costilla, 26, of Taylor passed away Friday, April 23, 2010 in Taylor, TX.  Visitation was from 6-8pm with Rosary at 7pm, Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of Life Mass Services was held at 2pm, Monday, April 26, 2010 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and burial followed at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Gilbert was born on June 27, 1983 to Gilbert Jr. and Yolanda Lopez Costilla in Temple, TX.

He is proceeded in death by his paternal Great-grandparents; Julia Costilla, Ramon Campos, Maternal great-grandparents; Mike and Rita Lopez, Guadalupe and Pilar Trevino and step-grandfather Ed Stringer II.

Gilbert is survived by his children; Savannah and Julian Costilla, parents; Gilbert Jr. and Yolanda Lopez Costilla, grandparents; Gilbert Sr. and Oralia Costilla, Phillip Sr. and Flora Lopez, Mary Stringer, great-grandmother; Amelia Campos, brothers, Chris Costilla and fiancé Erin Konarik, Justin Costilla, Adrian Costilla and Kari Alderete and Eric Costilla, sister; Kirsten Walker; nephew, Kayden Costilla, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers were Trey Lopez, Jeremy Lopez, Matt Lopez, Jacob Sanchez, John Adam Martinez, Jeremiah Aldama Emilio Perez, Edward Stringer. Honorary pallbearers were Ralphie Campos, Joseph Campos, Derrick Hinostroza, Carlos Watson and Josh Sanchez.
