Amador Riojas Dominguez

Amador Riojas Dominguez, 76, of Taylor was called to his eternal resting place on Thursday, July 6, 2017 surrounded by family and friends.

Amador Dominguez was born on July 12, 1940 to Manuel and Elena (Riojas) Dominguez in Edinburg, Texas. He married Mary Salazar on July 15, 1962. This marriage was blessed with 55 years of marriage and four wonderful children. Amador was a devout Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Taylor.

Also, a member of The Knights of Columbus and Christ Renews His Parish Ministry. Family always came first for Amador. His family was truly blessed to have had him in their lives and he will be greatly missed by the many relatives and friends who loved and admired him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Carol Lynn Perez; and two infant brothers and a sister, and brothers Albert and Abel Dominguez; sister Florinda Dominguez Gamez.

Amador is survived by his children, son David Dominguez and wife Linda; son Andrew Dominguez; daughter Ellen (Dominguez) Lopez all of Taylor; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Elodia Flores of Cisco, TX.; Alejandro Dominguez and wife, Johnnie of Zephyr, TX.; Amelio Dominguez of Burleson, TX.; Jesusa (Susie) Lester of Norman, OK.; Aurora (Dee) Redding and husband Charlie of Alvarado, TX.; Leonila (Mary) Daniels of Taylor; Guadalupe "Lupe" Hernandez of Fort Worth.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Lopez, Manual Perez jr, Stephen Perez, Matthew Dominguez, Joe (Jay) Lopez Jr., Nicholas Dominguez, Thomas Dominguez, Joseph Macias.

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Monday, July 10, 2017 at

Providence Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church
