Mark Albert Balduff, 55 of Taylor, went to be with his heavenly father on July 4, 2017 after a long battle with cancer, he was surrounded by his wife, family & children.
Mark was born June 3, 1962 to Amparo & Marion Balduff where he was raised and went to school in Taylor. He worked with his dad at We fixit shop as a young boy where they repaired washing machines, lawn mowers, etc. and at Taylor veterinary. He also helped his dad at Prewitt Hardware and worked at Rudy Mikeska's, and Mopsy Mikeska's. Mark worked for over 23 years as a Manager at Contech and 10 years at AAR Inc as a Supervisor. Mark went to Taylor high school state competition in doubles tennis. He also won several livestock categories with FFA, mainly for turkeys but also for exotic rabbit breeds. Mark loved to BBQ for every occasion, loved having the family over and all the grandchildren. He also loved watching football, basketball, soccer & volleyball. He was a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan, loved the Spurs & the Aggies. Mark always had a big smile on his face.
Mark is survived by his loving wife Barbara Balduff of 21 years, children, Joshua Balduff & wife Ashley of Salt Lake, Utah, Casey Tanzini & husband Anthony of Taylor, Kaitlin Balduff of Taylor, step children Tosha Ornelas & husband Mannie of Brownsville & Stephanie Vasquez of Taylor and 12 grandchildren, Trinity & Zoe Balduff, Alex & Aiden Artalejo , Wyatt Tanzini, Tristan & Brooklyn Lopez, Lyric & Kayden Ornelas, Ethan & Aubrey Rangel & Ayden Olguin; his mother, Amparo Balduff, his younger brother Marvin Balduff and younger sister Mariam Balduff Erengil.
Mark was preceded in death by his father Marion Balduff and father in law George Hendrix.
Pallbearers are Ryan Hendrix, Chad Hendrix, Anthony Tanzini, Mike Rathke, Mannie Ornelas, Kenneth Vrana, Jeffrey Loeve. Honorary pallbearers are James Hendrix & Mark Krenek.
Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Providence Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 7, 2017 at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
