Clifford Wayne Patschke

After a battle with cancer, Clifford Wayne Patschke passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the age of 69.

He was born June 9, 1947 to Clarence Patschke and Naomi Hope Daniels Patschke. After high school graduation, Clifford served in the U.S. Army. Upon graduation from air conditioning and refrigeration trade school, he went to work at his father’s business as an air conditioning/refrigeration tech and mechanic. Upon retirement, he enjoyed his farm life and fishing.

Clifford is preceded in death by his daughter Ginger, parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law Erwin and Vangie Fuessel and his favorite pup “Tater”.

Clifford is survived by his wife Janice (Fuessel) Patschke, brothers Jimmy and wife Liz Patschke of Livingston, Milton Patschke of Round Rock, Pat and wife Charlene Patschke of Taylor and sister Trish and George Jones of Flower Mound. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.

The family wishes to thank the staff and nurses at Baylor Scott & White of Temple for their compassion and care. Also special thanks to Dr. Paula Dungog.

Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 P.M., Saturday, May 27, 2017 at St. John Lutheran Church of Thorndale. Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Detmold Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Justin Patschke, Casey Fuessel, Jason Kovar, Carter Travis, and Butch Fuessel.

In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to St. John Lutheran Church of Thorndale or American Cancer Society.
