Violet Naomi (Stanford) Glover born February 23, 1922 in Lee County departed this life on March 20, 2017.

She became a Christian at the age of 18, and served the Lord until she passed away at the age of 95. She was a member of Community Christian Church of Round Rock, Texas.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Willie R. Glover, her brother Haywood Stanford, Sr and her sister, Una Jones.

Survivors are 1 daughter, Belinda Gamez and husband, Al Gamez of Pflugerville, TX, 2 grandchildren, Scarlett Hudgins and husband Mark Hudgins of Whitehouse, TX and Sean Gamez and wife, Alita Gamez of Round Rock, TX, Great-grandchildren Zarick Smith, Ava Gamez, Mason Montes, Trinity Hudgins, and Payton Hudgins. Also survived by 1 brother-in-law Mac Ross and wife Elsie Ross of Cedar Creek, TX, 2 sister-in-laws, Denise Stanford of Magnolia, TX and Mary Parker of Smithville, TX, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm and Service Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 2:00pm at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, TX. Burial in Taylor City Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Community Christian Church Remodeling Fund in Violet’s name.
