David F Farley

David F. Farley, 54, of Taylor died March 3, 2017. He was born in Chicopee Falls, MA.

Dave had a love for food that came out in his first career as store manager for a restaurant chain and later, the owner of The Landmark Restaurant in downtown Omaha. He loved the chaos of a restaurant during the lunch rush.

Dave made many friends over the years at the bowling alley. He enjoyed traveling to nationals for bowling with friends old and new. Dave returned to school to studied computer programming and worked in software development in Omaha and migrated to Texas.
Dave provided his sense of humor and chili-making talents to raise donations for many organizations across Taylor and Williamson County.

He retired from ERCOT in 2012 finishing his career as a software development manager.

He was preceded in death by his father Walter, sister-in-law Sherryl Farley, and father-in-law Jerald "Moose" Bergman

Dave is survived by his wife Karen; son David Michael of Tampa FL and sons Joshua James and Erik Christopher of Taylor TX; mother, Fabiola of Bellevue, NE, mother-in-law Betty Bergman of Omaha, NE; brothers Walter, Charles (Daphne) of Bellevue NE and James (Susanne) of Pacific Junction, IA; brother-in-law JW (Angela) Bergman of Valley NE; nephews, Shane, Josh, Dan (Heidi) and Robert Farley, JT and Sam Bergman; nieces, Chelsea Farley, Crista (Darryl) McAllister, Jennifer (Robert) Blum and Alexandria Bergman; grand-niece, Aubree McAllister.

Visitation will be from 5pm – 7pm Wednesday March 8, 2017
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10am Thursday March 9, 2017
