Dealton Ray Long

Dealton Ray Long, age 75 of Manor passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016. He was born December 29, 1940 in Big Spring, Texas to Carol Laverne and Omer Ray Long.

Dealton graduated from Cohoma High School in Cohoma, Texas. He worked for Texas MHMR, owned and operated Paper Mate Office Supply , and was a Service Advisor for an auto repair shop.

He had many hobbies, but fishing was his passion. He loved to fish. He also loved reading and watching old western movies. He loved going to church, serving and teaching others.

Dealton is preceded in death by his parents; Carol Laverne and Omer Ray Long.

He is survived by his sons; Randy Long of Minneapolis, MN and Ronnie Long and wife Selina of Webberville, TX; grandsons, Sam, Jack, Rex, Jackson, and Calum; brother, Vernon Long of Tennessee; sisters, Norma Keaton and Marlene Rigoli both of Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Alta Vista Cemetery in Bastrop, Texas.
