Philip Stanley Walker

Philip Stanley Walker, age 67, died peacefully in his home in Coupland, Texas on November 15, 2016.

Phil was born on July 28, 1949 to Daniel Joseph Walker and Sylvia Stiborik Walker in Taylor, Texas.

He graduated from North Texas State University in Denton with a degree in accounting and later became a Certified Public Accountant. He worked for Brasseler USA for more than 15 years in their California and Georgia locations and the Lewis Organization until the time of his death.

Phil was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Patricia Anne Walker. He is survived by his son, Keith (Carrie) Walker of Austin; his daughter, Leslie (Ryland) Trahan of Austin; grandsons, Elliot and Jude; brother, Mark (Brenda) Walker of Walburg; sister, Marianne (Mike) Schneider of Coupland; nephews, Matthew (Anna) Schneider; Andrew (Audrey) Walker; Paul Walker; nieces, Mona (Mark) Baudek; Meredith (Brian) Gleason; and Monica (Allen) Christy.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Providence Funeral Home, in Taylor, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an animal shelter of your choice.
