Randell Keith Kolinek, 60, of Taylor passed away Saturday, November 5th, 2016 at Christopher House Hospice, Austin TX surrounded by his loving family. Randell was born on October 10, 1956 to Leroy and Irene Kolinek (Ihlenfeldt).
He married Maria P. Medrano on January 26, 1985. Randell had a big heart and was always willing to help neighbors and family and friends when the need arose. He also loved to bake his famous oatmeal cookies, banana nut bread, and chocolate cake.
He is survived by his wife Maria (Pat) Kolinek, daughter Jennifer and son-in-law Bradley Bowman of Washington, DC, son Matthew Kolinek and daughter-in-law Melissa of Pflugerville, TX, and daughter Sarah and son-in-law Paul Galvan of Taylor, TX along with grandchildren: Liam Bowman, Landon Kolinek, London Kolinek, Ava Galvan, and Evan Galvan.
He is also survived by his sister Vickie Spinn of Hutto, TX and three brothers Leroy Kolinek Jr. and wife Julie of Taylor, Darrell Kolinek and wife Linda of Paige, TX, and James Kolinek and wife Shelly of Taylor. He also had numerous nieces and nephews who fondly called him “Uncle Randell” or “Tio Randell”.
A memorial service to celebrate Randell’s life will be held 10am on Saturday, November 19th, 2016 at the Taylor Brethren Church with burial services to follow at Taylor Cemetery.
