Leonor Galvan

Leonor Galvan, age 84, relocated to heaven on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.

Leonor (Nare) as many knew her, was born on April 11, 1932. She was most proud of her service with Taylor I.S.D. as custodian for 16 years.

Her greatest accomplishment was the unity and love of her family. Our beloved Grama-Papi as we called her, will be remembered as a loving, wise, funny and crafty woman who was strong and independent throughout her years of life.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Galvan, son John Galvan and son-in-law Rene Ramirez.

She is survived by her daughter Darlene Ramirez, son Paul Galvan and wife Sarah, granddaughters Ryanne Robles (husband Lee Robles) and Ava Galvan, grandsons Rolando (wife Krystal) , Ricardo Ramirez and Evan Galvan, great-grandaughters Laryssa Ramirez, Elysia Robles and Nevaeh Ramirez, great-grandsons Devon Robles, Tyler, Sammie, Nicholas Ramirez, Jordon and Eli Ramirez.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Monday, November 14, 2016 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel with Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M.

Celebration of Life Mass will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Taylor Cemetery.
