Frances Marie Pustejovsky Hines

Frances (Mimi) Marie Pustejovsky Hines of Thorndale, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 6th, 2016 at Scott and White Hospital in Round Rock Texas at the age of 101.

Frances was born in Friendship, Texas to Frank and Frances Pustejovsky. She and her family then moved to Davilla, Texas where she met the love of her life, Frank Hines. They were married on August 11th, 1938. They made their home in Davilla and later moved to Thorndale where they raised their family.

Frances worked for Thorndale ISD in the cafeteria for many years as well as farming, ranching, and raising her family alongside her husband.

Frances was proceeded in death by her husband Frank Curtis Hines, her son Curtis Wayne Hines her parents Frank and Frances Pustejovsky, and her granddaughter Michelle Andrews as well as 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Included among her survivors are her children, Doris Placette Messina, Jimmy and Sylvia Hines, Kenneth and Diane Hines, Gilbert and Jenny Hines, Dennis and Cindy Hines, Weldon Hines and Tammy Pickett; 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Tuesday, November 8th, 2016 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor.

Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for 2pm on Wednesday, November 9th, 2016 at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Davilla Cemetery.

A gathering to share memoires will be held at the Thorndale Senior Citizens Center following the internment.

Pallbearers will be her sons, Jimmy, Kenneth, Gilbert, Dennis, and Weldon.
