Joe Sanchez, 64, of Hutto, passed away on Sunday, October 16th, 2016. He was born in Taylor on March 2, 1952 to Mike & Carmen Sanchez Sr. He married Mary Sandoval and had 2 sons, Steven and Christopher.
He was a painter by trade and was kind enough to take the time to teach others his skills to better themselves. He was lucky enough to make many long time friendships in his profession. Those of us that were able to spend leisure time with him know that he was a very kind and giving person. Being his favorite teams, he loved to sit and watch Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys football. His favorite past time was to visit, listen to Tejano music, and reminisce about old times. We love you and will miss you, Tio Joe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike & Carmen (Yannis) Sanchez Sr.; brothers, Mike Sanchez Jr. and David Sanchez; sister, Margie Garza; sister & brother-in-law, Roman & Mary Alice Campos; sister, Rosie Camacho; nephew, Michael Camacho; and brother-in-law, Gilbert Azua.
Joe was survived by his wife, Mary; sons, Stephen & Christopher; brother, Johnny and wife, Alice, of Taylor; brother, Jimmy and wife, Tammy Smith, of Taylor; sister, Regina Conde and husband, Severiano, of Georgetown; sisters, Lydia Alderete and husband, Thomas, of Taylor, Carmen Carnline of Austin, Frances Azua of Round Rock, Brenda Chapa and husband, Alcadio, of Hutto; sister-in-law, Margaret Sanchez; brother-in-laws, Carlos Garza & Humberto Castilleja; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
