Gregoria Torres Carranza

Gregoria Torres Carranza, age 67, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at a Round Rock hospital.

She was born on March 12, 1949 to Lorenzo and Julia (Carlin) Torres. She was a 1968 graduate of Taylor High School.

She worked as a health care giver provider at Will O' Bell Nursing Home, John's Community Hospital and SPJST Nursing Home.

Gregoria's favorite things to do were to have family time and play bingo.

She had a very happy outgoing personality. She had a knack for making people laugh, always being the life of any get together.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Carlos, Joe, Antonio and Gabriel Torres.

She leaves behind to cherish her many memories, one daughter, Rebecca (Leonard) Harris of Belton, one brother Lorenzo (Minnie) Torres Jr., three sisters Camerina (Ray) Martinez, Elvira (Frank) Sanchez, Lourdes (Jesse) Gonzales, 5 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Providence Funeral Home from 6 - 8 P.M. The rosary will be recited at 7 P.M.

Funeral will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Wednesday October 19, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. with burial will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery
