Marie Jones Samuelson

Marie Stone Jones Samuelson, 95, of Elgin passed away in her home on Friday, October 14th, 2016. She was on born on December 17th, 1920 in Bastrop County. Marie was a loving wife and mother whose family was her greatest joy in life. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Jones, her parents, Jacob Clyde Stone and Valley Estes Stone and her brother Ray C Stone.

Marie leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Gayle Holmstrom and husband Trent, son Terry Jones, and grandchildren Jayme and husband Mark Delgado, Shelly Holmstrom, Lance Holmstrom, Hayden Jones and Aly Jones.

Family will receive friends from 5pm-7pm, Saturday October 15th, 2016 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas. A celebration of Marie’s life will be held at 2pm on Sunday, October 16th, 2016 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas. Interment will follow at Lawhorn Springs Cemetery.
