Marvin Joseph Bachmeyer

Marvin Joseph Bachmeyer, 77, passed from this life August 5, 2016. Marvin was born October 9, 1938 to Joseph Bachmeyer and Ella Meiske Bachmeyer. On September 16, 1961 he married Linda Rainwater Bachmeyer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Henry and Alice Rainwater and grandson Seth Copeland.

He is survived by his wife Linda, daughters Terrie Bachmeyer-Pavel and husband Keith and Lori Ann Loeve, sons Brett Bachmeyer and wife Stephanie and Matthew (Bucky) Bachmeyer, grandchildren Ethan Copeland, Garrett Copeland, Chandee Bachmeyer, Kelly Copeland, Haiden Copeland, Sarah Loeve and Jackson Loeve. He is also survived by sisters Dolores Woefel, Rosalie (Curtis) Minzenmayer and Marjorie (Franklin) Peschel.

After years of service at ALCOA and the City of Taylor, he retired from construction as owner of Marvin Bachmeyer Road Construction for over 25 years. He enjoyed surveying and farming his land, hunting and fishing, his cattle and his family, especially his grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Providence Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 12, 2016 at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery.
