Raphaela L Trevino

Raphaela Trevino, age 94, of Granger, Texas, went into heavenly rest on Thursday, June 30, 2016.

Raphaela was born on June 21, 1922, daughter to Senovio and Mercedes Luna, in Granger, Texas. She was married to Rafael Trevino. She worked outside of home doing residential and commercial cleaning. She also helped with child care. Her hobbies included embroidering and gardening. She enjoyed watching Wrestling and Westerns on television, and spending time with family. She was a lifetime member of SS. Cyril Methodius Catholic Church, and volunteered with Church activities such as bazaars and picnics. She was recognized by Dr. Susan Skrovan for the many years of dedicated service she provided to Granger Medical Clinic.

Raphaela is preceded in death by her father, Senovio Luna; husband, Rafael Trevino; brothers, Paul Luna and Johnny Luna; sister, Helen; son, Antonio Trevino; daughter-in-law, Victoria Trevino; grandson, Michael Trevino; granddaughter, Cody Rae Trevino; and great-grandson, Paul Richard Trevino, II. She is survived by her son, Paul Trevino; daughter, Mercedes Hernandez; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services to celebrate Raphaela's life and faith will be held as follows:
Viewing will be held at 6:00 PM and Rosary at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 5th at Providence Funeral Home, 807 Carlos Parker Blvd. NW, Taylor, Texas. Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 6th at SS. Cyril Methodius Church Parish Hall, 500 W. Davilla St., Granger, Texas, to be officiated by Reverend Hilario Guajardo. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Granger, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the SS. Cyril Methodius Church, Granger, Texas.
