Eva Lopez

On May 21, 2016, Heaven gained a beautiful Angel, Eva Lopez, age 81 of Taylor, Texas was called home to join our Heavenly Father.

Eva Lopez was born in Taylor, Texas on February 26, 1935.

On April 14, 1952, Eva was united in marriage with Lorenzo Lopez.

She is survived by husband Lorenzo Lopez, Jr and they were blessed with 8 children Arthur Lopez and wife Gloria of Round Rock, Beverly Hernandez and husband Brody of Round Rock, Theresa Diaz and husband James, Gracie Zapata and husband Erick of Austin, Adolph Lopez and wife Gladys of Pflugerville, Augie Lopez and wife Lisa Lopez of Pflugerville.

She is also survived by her grandchildren Jeana Sanchez, Nicolas Hernandez, Brandy Hernandez, Teanne Lopez, Taylor Diaz, Toby Gayton, Brittany Gayton, Stacy Lopez, Erick Zapata and Erika Zapata; step-grandchildren Eloy Flores, Kachiana Hernandez, Eric Zapata, Julian Zapata and Stephen Zapata; great grandchildren Ciara San Migel and Caleb San Migel; and great great grandchildren Alexis Hernandez, Christian Hernandez, Ivan Sanchez and Brooklin Sanchez.

She is preceded in death by her parents Dolores and Maria Rios and her children Beverly and Michael Anthony Lopez.

Eva Lopez retired from Naomi Pasemann Elementary in 2005.

She was a sweet and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and loved the Lord with all her heart.

The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the caregivers at Seton medical Center for the excellent care provided and also Hospice Austin for their recent care.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow at the Taylor City Cemetery.
