Pauline Clara Sorenson

Pauline Clara (Wuthrich) Sorenson, 96, of Taylor, TX passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 at Trinity Care Center, Round Rock.

She was born December 18, 1919 to Fred John Wuthrich and Lena Emilia (Moehnke) Wuthrich. Pauline was baptized, confirmed and married at Immanuel Lutheran Church (a/k/a West Taylor Lutheran Church).

She married Louis Christian Sorenson on December 18, 1936 and they had two children.

Pauline was a housewife but also worked at Bluebonnet Café on 2nd Street, McCrory’s Five and Dime Store, Taylor Bedding Company, Luhn & Johns Drug Store and Holman Electric. She was a member and past president of the Dorcas-Hannah Circle and treasurer of Women of the Church at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Taylor.

She is predeceased by her parents, husband, and eleven siblings. Pauline is survived by her children, Jerlene and husband, Harold Sander of Round Rock, TX and Bobby and wife, Beatrice Sorenson of Baytown. She is also survived by her grandchildren Russell and wife, Tammie Sander of Granite Shoals, Robert Sr. and wife, Melissa Sorenson of Baytown, Ashley and husband Mark Elder of Seguin and Christian Sorenson of Baytown, and her great-grandchildren Justin Sander, David Sander Robert Sorenson, Jr., Laura Sorenson, Montgomery Elder and Emerson Elder.

Visitation will be 12:00-1:30 P.M., Tuesday, April 26, 2016 prior to the Celebration of Life Services at 2:00 P.M. at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial at the Taylor City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Russell, Justin and David Sander, Robert Sr. and Christian Sorenson and Mark Elder.
