Guillermo "William" Pedroza, Jr.

Guillermo “William” Pedroza, Jr. was born November 16, 1963, in Taylor, Texas. He was called home at the age of 52 on March 11, 2016.

William married Rebecca “Becky” Trammell Pedroza, May 14, 1994, and was married for 21 years. They have one son, Sebastian “Sebe” Guillermo Pedroza who is 15 years old. During his lifetime he worked at R&R Ditching, Miller Lite/Wright Distributing, Schwann’s, and TexMix Concrete.

William was a proud supporter of everything his “Golden Boy” Sebastian participated in, from Karate, Basketball, Cross Country, Tennis, Football, and many more. He could always be found nearby cheering on Sebe and the rest of the team.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Guillermo Pedroza, Sr., Maria “Mary” Louisa Vasquez Pedroza, brother Juan “Johnny” Ambrose Pedroza, brother-in-law Robert Lopez, nephew Erik Patrick Lopez and niece Angelica Pedroza.

He is survived by his son, Sebastian, sisters Alice Pedroza Mares and husband Ed of Temple; Vickie Pedroza Treece and husband Gary of Knoxville TN; and sister-in-law Linda Lopez Pedroza of Troy. Brothers Randy and wife Gloria of Milano; Andrew of Round Rock; David and wife Linda of Cedar Park; Joseph and wife Stacey of Thorndale.

Nieces and nephews (20) are Johnny J. Pedroza, Mark Pedroza, Robert Lopez, Jr. and wife Stephanie, Christopher Nolan, Amber and husband Leroy Phelps, Brandon Lara, Sarah Pedroza, Randy Pedroza, Elizabeth Pedroza, Austin Owens and wife Julia, Stuart Owens, Andrea Pedroza Maffia, Anna Pedroza, Andrew Pedroza, Jr., Lance Pedroza, Chloe Pedroza, Isaac Pedroza, Gavin Pedroza, Danielle Pedroza and Jacob Pedroza.

Great nieces and nephews (12) Evan, Taylor, Cooper, Abcidee, Nathan, Gavin, Kaylee, Christian, Lexy, Tory, Danika, and Aiden.

William was known to many as everyone’s “Favorite Uncle Will” whether you were family or friends. He loved to bar-b-que and was known as the “Tamale King” to so many! He had a love of family and friends and always made sure there was a reason to get together and celebrate life and family. He was always cooking something and enjoyed having a house full of family, friends and kids.

A rosary service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylor on Tuesday, March 15th at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be Wednesday, March 16th at 10:00 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Taylor, Texas. Interment will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Granger.
