Jose Perez

Jose Perez, age 67 of Granger passed away Monday, February 15, 2016. Jose was born May 25, 1948 to Guadalupe and Antonio Perez in Bartlett, Texas.

Jose graduated from Granger High School and joined the US Army and fought in the Vietnam War. After leaving the Army he worked for the Granger I.S.D. for over 20 years driving school buses.

Jose is survived by his wife, Arminia Delgado Perez; step-children, Joseph Ramirez, Moses Ramirez and his wife Laurie, and Theresa Castillo; grandchildren, Remigio Castillo and Shayna Braybrandt, Andrea Castillo and Kenneth Gomez, JB Castillo and Clera Strimiska, Jonathan Ramirez, Jeremy Ramirez, and Makenna Ramirez; great-grandchildren, Victoria Castillo, Remigio Castillo, III, Kiara Gomez, Xavier Castillo, Kenneth Gomez, Jr., and Xander Castillo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jose is preceded in death by his parents; Guadalupe and Antonio Perez and a grandson, Matthew Castillo
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 17, 1026 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Providence Funeral home with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Celebration of Life Mass will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the Parish Hall of SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
