Vivian Winters

Vivian Ellen “Faye” Herrin Winters, 72, went home to our lord and savior Jesus Christ on Monday January 25, 2016 at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple Texas.

She was born in Abilene Texas on February 26, 1943 to the late Elmer and Sally Herrin.

She is preceded in death by sisters, Joann West, Lillian Fiveash, Lenora Proctor, Paula Shemard and brother, James Herrin.

She is survived by sons Kirk Winters and wife Maria, Jerry Winters and wife Jolie, Craig Winters and wife Robin, daughter Angela Bernhardt and husband Roger, grandchildren Christopher Winters, Michael Winters, Heath Winters, Kayla Winters Newberry and husband Brandon, Elizabeth Winters, Dustin Winters, Johanna Bernhardt and great grandchildren Angelica Winters, Cecilia Winters, Liam Newberry, Adalynn Newberry and many nieces and nephews.

She retired in 2002 from Abbott Laboratories. She enjoyed watching old movies, especially Disney movies and listening to good old Country music along with spending time with family and friends.

She lived in Taylor Texas for 40 years before moving to Temple Texas in 2014.

She will be greatly missed by many family and friends and will always be in our hearts.

Private memorial service will be held at Faye’s wishes.
