Alfonso Gutierrez

Alfonso Cruz Gutierrez, age 80 of Taylor, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on December 6, 2015. Alfonso “Poncho” was born January 24, 1935 in Brownsville, Texas.

Alfonso is preceded in death by his parents Carmen and Seletonia Gutierrez, his wife Guadalupe Rodriguez Gutierrez and his sons Albert and Robert Gutierrez.

He is survived by a close and loving friend Juanita Luna; son Adrian Gutierrez, two grandchildren Brandon and Jason Gutierrez, two brothers Robert Gutierrez and Jesse Ancira and two sisters Rosalba and Esperanza.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Providence Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M.

Celebration of Life Mass will be held Friday, December 11, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with burial to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.
