Dorothy Glenn Switzer

Dorothy Glenn Switzer, 91, of Taylor, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015.

Dorothy was born on August 9, 1924 to Bonnie Condor and Ester Pagel. She married Fred Switzer on October 8, 1966. Dorothy was a LVN and worked at John’s Hospital and John’s Clinic. She served as President of the Auxiliary at John’s Hospital. Dorothy enjoyed gardening and the dance club.

She is predeceased by her parents and one grandchild.

Dorothy is survived by her husband Fred Switzer, her sons Frank Urbis and wife Tricia, Lawrence Urbis and wife Connie, Mark Urbis and wife Connie, Fred Switzer III and David Switzer and wife Ruth, her daughter Dorie Bennatt, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M., Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery.

Pall bearers will be Chad Urbis, Lynn Urbis, David Scott, Joe Vega, Art Garcia, A.J. Devlin and Jacob Balusek.
