Ronald M. “Ron” Neel died unexpectedly at his home in Circleville on November 11, 2015 in Taylor, Tx at the age of 76.
Ron is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Robyn Quereshi and Mohamad of Harker Heights, Tx, Stephen DeLuna and Debbie of Cabot, Ar, Charles Deluna and Charlotte of Taylor, Tx, Rhonda Potter and Spence of Bastrop, Tx, Rebecca Grace and David of Whitehouse, Tx, and Theresa Parker and Edward of Lexington, South Carolina; siblings, Doug Neel of Ocean Side, CA, Katrina Lujan of Santa Fe, NM. He is preceded in death by Carol M. Neel of San Diego, Ruby Marie Joyce of Alpine California, and Mildred E. Neel of San Antonio, TX.
Ronald M. Neel was born on November 28, 1938 in National, California to Carol and Ruby Neel. He learned and developed the Stucco trade while living in California. He married Mildred Elizabeth Grun, when she made him realize that he didn’t want to live the single life any longer in 1968. They started their life together in Buda, Tx. They quickly finished filling their home with five children. When his wife Mildred passed away, his life was not over. He married Joyce Israel, whom Mildred suggested he consider if he chose to marry again. His children remember him as a firm, but loving father who encouraged them to work hard and dedicate their lives to the Lord.
Ron was accomplished in the field of stucco and often his work was recognized by the best. He was a generous individual who loved God, was passionate about reaching all who needed Jesus. He was an active and dedicated member of the Church and often volunteered at Shepherds Heart and anyone who was in need.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 5-7:00 P.M. at Providence Funeral Home.
A funeral is scheduled for November 15, 2015 3pm at Christ Fellowship, with the burial to follow at Taylor City Cemetery. Pastor Jeff Ripple and Pastor Larry Kelling will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ron’s life.
