Harold was born on March 12, 1943 and passed away on October 15, 2015. Harold was preceded in death by his beloved son Patrick Edward Ripley, brother John Ripley, and his parents. Harold was raised by his grandparents Earl J. Baker and Mary Belle Baker. He joined the United States Army in 1961 and retired in January 1981. He then moved to Taylor, Texas and was blessed, given the opportunity to meet and create a lot of lasting friendships in Taylor and the surrounding areas. Harold was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars #4476 Taylor, The American Legion Post #0039, Disabled American Veterans Chapter #173 Austin, and The American Rifle Association. Harold is survived by daughter Heidi M. Garison and grandson James P. Garison of San Antonio and daughter Barbara A. Ripley of Marble Falls.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Monday, October 19, 2015 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel with Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Celebration of Life Mass will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
